How to Configure GPRS SMART for Nokia 6300 China phone

To configure your gprs service on the nokia 6300 phone, it is not that hard, you only need to know the settings and how to navigate to the tools on your nokia phone.
-Click on Menu and then Settings.
- Scroll to Configuration and then Select Personal Configuration --> my Web > Account name
- On the account name type My mtn
Homepage = http://wap.smart.com.ph
user name = web
password = (Leave blank)
Use preferred Access point = No
- Select Access point settings
Data bearer should be Packet DATA
Proxy > Enabled
proxy address = 10.102.61.46
Proxy port = 8080
- Then select BEARER settings:
--> Packet data access pt = SMARTGPRSt
Then Exit.
Go to Menu > Web >Settings:
Select Configuration settings > Personal configuration.
Then you are good to go.

    The standard settings for smart gprs and mms are as follows: You may configure your phone's GPRS/MMS Settings using these information:

    (1) GPRS/WAP Internet Settings

    Connection name: SMARTGPRS

    Data bearer: Packet data

    Access point name: smart1

    User name: leave this blank

    Prompt password: No

    Password: leave this blank

    Authentication: Normal

    Homepage: http://wap.smart.com.ph

    Network type IPv4

    Phone IP address: 10.102.61.46

    Name servers: Automatic

    Proxy server address: 10.102.61.46

    Proxy port number: 8080 or 9201 for xhtml or wap

    Default access point: SMARTGPRS

    Data bearer: Choose GPRS

    Access point: internet

    User name: (leave it blank)

    Prompt p'word: No

    Password: (leave it blank)

    Authentication: Normal

    Homepage: http://wap.smart.com.ph

    (II) MMS Settings

    Connection name : SMARTMMS

    Data bearer:Packet data

    Access point: mms

    User name: leave it blank

    Prompt password: No

    Password: leave it blank

    Authentication: Normal

    Homepage : http://10.102.61.238:8002

    Network type IPv4

    Phone IP address: 10.102.61.46

    Name servers: Automatic

    Proxy server address: 10.102.61.46

    Proxy port number: 8080 or 9201 for xhtml or wap

    Default access point: SMARTGPRS

    Data bearer: Choose GPRS

    Access point: mms

    User name: (leave it blank)

    Prompt p'word: No

    Password: (leave it blank)

    Authentication: Normal

    Homepage: http://10.102.61.238:8002

    For automatic configuration of you Smart sim for these enhanced services, here is how to activate your phone's Smart MMS and Smart GPRS settings on the Smart network: Download MMS and GPRS settings from Smart:

    To download SMART MMS phone settings:

    Key in SET MMS and send to 211.

    To download SMART GPRS phone settings:

    Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.

    Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that's "SET MMS N6230"

    To activate SMART GPRS:

    Key in "GPRS ON" and send to "333"

    To activate SMART MMS:

    Key in "MMS ON" and send to "333"
