Overcoming temptations is one thing a Christian ought to know about in his fight against evil and doing the will of God. A soldier of Christ ought to know that like his master, he too will be tempted and then he will have to decide whose side he has to chose. To obey or disobey God. Temptations are sure to come but one way one can overcome them and shine gloriously as Christians is to become addicted to prayer. Praying always and especially in times of temptations would help you to keep evil far away. The reason why we don't overcome temptations at times is because we have not prayed with all our heart. Some temtations are strong while others are weak. The ones that are strong are so because we have had a history of committing such sins nad the weak ones are the ones that we easliy say no to. We can overcome even the strong temptations by buildin positively, a history of overcoming them. Once you overcome them, it becomes easier to overcome it but you can only do this with prayer and the will. God's grace is always there and the reason why we are so poor is because we have not asked God for grace.
