There has been consistent power outages recently and i have been mostly using my laptop for projects rather than the desktop. But lately, it appears that my laptop battery only lasts for about 10 minutes after charging. When there is no longer light to charge it, i can only use it for 10 mins although initially, i use to use it for 4 hours. How can i rectify this?

Your battery lasts for only 10mins. I think it has become faulty. You need a replacement cos the battery is as good as dead. Check the battery make and model and get the exact same one. Don't let the retailer rip you off by giving you one that is not designed for your laptop
