Swine flu is a really tough problem that is affecting some parts of the world now and it is said to have began its spread from Mexico where it was first detected. Now it has been identified in the US and it is under control. Hope it doesn't come to Africa which already has its own problems like malaria and HIV. Experts have said that if the flu becomes too problematic, it may continue for many years or if we are lucky, it would just pass away. Tamiflu has been recommended as the drug of choice but early detection is esential and not just the drug. How to detect is and curtail it's spread is more important than just the cure. Flus like this in the past had claimed millions of lives. We hope that it doesn't re-occur in these modern times.

Those 2 are a bad combination. I hope this doesn't get to Africa but rather gets nipped in the bud. Africa still has to contend to fighting HIV
